Re Centre Eurocluster has completed the selection and we are pleased to inform you that our project "PRODUP" has passed the first evaluation phase and has been finally approved. The "PRODUP" project defines a path that our company and management are clearly aware of: utilizing technology to achieve the company's mission. Looking towards the near future, when the supply of components to integrate into objects will be enormous, the electronics and furniture sectors could find themselves competing for the same market share. Being present from now represents a tremendous opportunity for design companies.

The project aims to achieve tangible and measurable results through the adoption, configuration, and verticalization of an innovative technological platform that, through a pilot project, integrates and aligns with Marioni's production and organizational processes. This platform will:

-Catalog and record the product references of interest on the Blockchain

-Establish differentiated production processes for each product type, described in sequential steps

-Certify the production batches on the Blockchain, attributing them characteristics of originality, transparency, and immutability as detailed in the definition of the respective production processes

-Notarize the related documentary assets to enable the target audience to determine the company's and its products' quality, safety, and sustainability characteristics

The project's innovative core involves adopting digital solutions based on Blockchain technology, coupled with IT architectures that ensure compatibility with business processes and stakeholders' information consumption. This bridges the accessibility gap associated with such technology. Utilizing this technology enables immutable and reliable tracing of significant events throughout the entire supply chain, eliminating the need for a third-party control entity.

Our solution incorporates B-Supply and Etherna, a consortium Blockchain offering the advantages of a private Blockchain in terms of stability, privacy, time efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, along with the reliability and trustability guaranteed by the consortium approach and the patented synchronization mechanism. To maximize the value of generated information, we will establish integration mechanisms with existing information systems, enabling effective data utilization by relevant parties.

All information will be made accessible in digital format, enhancing environmental sustainability and the long-term viability of the initiative. Our goal is not only to ensure transparency, originality, and immutability throughout the value chain but also to provide customers with tools to transform furniture and design products into investment-grade assets that appreciate in value over time.

The working group is made up of Marioni srl and Flosslab srl staff members, with the external participation of technicians for interfacing with the O.S. IBM AS400. The team has already carried out activities together in the recent past for an ICE pilot project on the Blockchain theme.
