GRIGIO ANTRACITE

Grigio Antracite painted finish. Wood finishing refers to the process of refining a wooden surface, especially in the production of high quality furniture. Finishing is the final step of the manufacturing process that gives wood surfaces unique features, including enhanced appearance and increased resistance to moisture and other environmental agents. Once the wood surface is prepared and stained, several coats of paint are applied. To reach an antique look the piece of furniture is buffed using steel wool, pumice, rotten stone or other materials. Finally, the surface is hand-polished and a final coat of wax is spread over the finish to add protection.
