Glasses

Glass is a material obtained by solidifying a liquid, consisting mainly of silica oxide. It is used in furniture for its transparency, chemical inalterability and extreme versatility: in fact, thanks to the addition of certain elements, it is possible to create glass with different colors, aesthetic effects and chemical-physical properties. 90% of the flat glass produced in the world, called float glass, is manufactured with the "floating" system where the molten glass is poured in a bath of molten tin and the standard thicknesses are 10, 12, 15, 19 mm. Where they can be subject to shocks or static stresses, as in the case of areas with a high density of public (hotels and resorts) or in the nautical sector, the tops of our tables can be tempered, thus minimizing the risks for people in case of accidental breakage.
