Our plant pots have a decorative function, meaning they should not be used without an internal pot to hold the plant and a plastic saucer to collect any excess water. Temperatures below freezing can create micro-cracks in the glaze, which over time could damage the surface. Therefore, it is recommended to place them in environments protected from the elements
