​​​In this process, personal sensitivity plays a key role, generating creative energies and leading to design concepts. But elegance is the matrix of everything, discreet and reassuring, never ostentatious. I have the task of selecting the most suitable designers to reinterpret our traditions because there is a great desire of Italy in the world. The professionals who support us in this challenge and who know our artistic skills very well work side by side with our Style Center to define new and exclusive forms and functions.

The company organization in the last ten years has changed a lot. The push towards a full digital design has led to an adjustment of internal tasks and the training of specialized staff. Today, creative skills are inextricably linked to rapid prototyping and component engineering, without forgetting the human contribution. The equipment, even the most sophisticated one, could never guarantee MARIONI originality and quality without the manual skills of our employees, often real artists. Since 2013 we have invested in the creation of an archive of 3D models that today can count more than five hundred references that are very useful to the interior designer for the rendering of their projects. The next step ……. implementation to AR / VR reality.​​​​

I am sure that with the experience achieved in more than 50 years of activity and thanks to the recognized ability of our staff, we will certainly be able to indulge and support the inventiveness and creativity of architects, designers and artists also in the next years. However, I imagine in our company a greater propensity for international training, marketing and communication, with a strong increase in direct relationships with the final consumer who will become increasingly curious and demanding thanks to the ease of interconnection through new technologies. We will have to work more and more on those intangible values such as qualitative efficiency, positioning and storytelling, themes that bring our manufacturing to the attention of that public that seeks history and culture in the products he buys, with the aim of remaining among the excellent companies of the future.​

Every day I try to guide my collaborators in achieving the goals with the utmost commitment, always respecting the human dignity. In my work the achievement of profit is not the only stimulus and often some moments such as the acquisition of an important order, the success of a collection and the sincere compliments of an owner are a source of great personal satisfaction. I am proud to belong to this land, Tuscany, which is a continuous source of inspiration and which, with its history and beauty, has certainly influenced and characterized my way of being.​

Ours is an Italian company, internationally recognized as an excellence in the design and production of lamps, furnishing accessories, furniture and upholstery. Our mission is to propose furnishing solutions to a qualified public and to be able to fulfill every particular request as happens in a fashion atelier. The goal is, through the skill of our collaborators, to make what has been drawn on paper or rendered on a computer real.​

Today we offer our customers furniture, upholstery, lighting and objects in different collections: NOTORIOUS, exclusive and refined - CONCEPT, with a “transitional” style - CLASSIC, historically respectful of the “tuscany lifestyle”. Our modelers, decorators and artists work with great ability in Calenzano headquarters, not far from Florence, and our collections are born between modernity and tradition, maintaining their innate functional and aesthetic value over the time. We are guided by love and respect for tradition, which requires us to work at an uncompromising and unparalleled level of quality, even when we offer modern and innovative interpretations.​

  

MARIONI identity is the full expression of the concept "Made in Italy", based on the integration between tradition and innovation: the culture of our craftsmen is a fundamental component to create a product that is now designed with the most modern technologies and the industrial organization is perfectly combined with the best, available tools: the hands of our workers. The combination of experience and sensitivity makes each product unique, inimitable and original.​

Foreign markets represent the 80% of our sales, thanks to a continuous evolution of the commercial proposal and the constant inclusion of new items. In addition to an organized worldwide distribution network, for some years we have signed agreements with the most representative and qualified furniture portals to cover every destination. At the base of the collaborations there is always the commitment to guarantee a parity rate in the prices of the collections to keep the investment value on our product high.​

It is certainly not easy to maintain a brand identity for a company that has more than two thousand items in the list, dozens of finishes and three stylistically different collections. However, what we want to guarantee is an aesthetic sobriety with sartorial attention to every detail.​

I was born in Florence in 63' and after my scientific studies I started attending the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. The death of my father Paolo leads me in 1992 to leave the university and enter in the company permanently. I live in a farmhouse in the Florentine hills with my wife Caterina and my four children Vittoria, Ginevra, Costanza and Tommaso. I love travelling, I follow the sports that kids play on weekends such as Rugby and Water Polo and, when I can, I take a few days off to reach the ski slopes. Cooking is also one of my passions and, according to my friends, I can prepare an excellent carbonara!
